SIX MONTHLY UPDATE !

I know these blogs are supposed to be updated more or less on a daily basis, but since moving onto the updated website all the news has gone onto that. For those of you still linked to this blog, here is a quick update.

Firstly the race car - SAXO VTR 58, was collected by South East Motorsport at the end of the season, and the work listed to prepare it for the 2010 season. The car was returned to us to be stripped and then delivered back in January for the rebulid. The firt race was two months ago, and the next round was two weeks ago, and still no sign or the car or any progress. Casj changed hands back inJannuary and all the items were bought and supplied, but still nothing like a rolling shell. We hope that within the ncoming month Mike will have a car to test with, but 2011 seems to be the revised date. Unfortunately we lost our main sponsors, partly as a result of this delay, so we need to start building contacts again.

Secondly the Karting - Mike has been running Milan Mach in Super 1 and for his other club rounds. Mike and Milan have signed with Paul Carr, one of the leading teams on the British Kart scene, and so far they have been performing quite well. The Kart has been features on Motors TV at the PFI round last month, and will be carrying an on board GOPro camera at next weeks Whilton Mill round. Mike is now recognised as the best teenage mechanic in the pits, with offers from many teams to work for them on a full-time basis. He and Milan have a godd rapport, so Mike is quite happy at the moment to keep things small and manageable, but the time will come when he needs to start team building and attracting some young potential.

Finally the garage side. Our buildings are now complete with 4 fully functional garages to prepare and maintain Karts and cars. With Mike out assisting Milan most weekends, that side is ready and waiting, with most of the effort going into the retail on-line site.

Just enough of an update to keep you going?
