CAR BUILD CONTINUES-SO WE WILL MISS SNETTERTON

The car has still been in the Spoox workshop this week as they try to get the ECU to work and map the engine. We anticipated that a week woould be plenty, but as the project has been running late, we tried to have the car tested with the standard MK2 engine in. The engine was installed in early January, but has probably proven to be the wrong move, as it has now delayed getting the race engine sorted in time for the Snetterton test. With no experience of Snetterton, and no time in the car as it has yet to be mapped, Mike has decided to plan for Castle Combe on Easter Monday and use the interim time to perfect the set up using Mallory Park. We can drop rounds, so this need not have an adverse affect to the overall results, but it will mean that Mike will not be at the top of the leader table when they are produced.
